2nd Annual Conference on Child Rights

Distressed Children & Infants (DCI) International’s 2nd Annual Conference on Child Rights was held in the TAC building of Yale University School of Medicine on October 17th, 2009, The conference featured over 10 speakers, who spoke about issues of poverty and methods of extracting children from its cycle.

DCI’s Journey for Rights & Sight: Benefit Concert commenced at 7 pm in the Yale School of Medicine’s Mary Harkness Auditorium, Artists included a wide range of local and international performers. The headlining artist of the night was Bangladeshi celebrity singer, Baby Naznin, who entertained the audience late into the night.

DCI would like to thank speakers, performers, and attendees for making this year’s event such a success. Due to your support and dedication, a number of children were sponsored and significant funds were raised. Distressed Children & Infants International would also like to thank our volunteers who demonstrated extreme commitment and passion for this important cause. Without this talented and devoted team, DCI would not be able to assist the children and families we support.

DCI looks forward to addressing this vital mission and working with our generous and invaluable volunteers and sponsors for many years to come. Together we can change the world, one child at a time!
